The team at Group1auto in Lincoln were again superb. They provided great advice through the vehicle selection process and kept me informed of progress with my new car order. Administration was dealt with efficiently and the pick-up faultless.

At Lincoln I dealt with the 2 Jacks and my main contact was with David Byrne. I'm sure as a salesman you deal with different people depending on their personality. I feel David read me well and ultimately it was great experience, as it should be.

Although I have a service package, any issues raised appear to be money making schemes. In 45 years of car ownership I have never had tyres perished after 2 years and 16000 miles!! The tyres still have at least 4.7 mm of tread.

Whilst the service from the service team was excellent, especially Ryan, as soon as there are issues it becomes difficult. My service was not fully carried out and had I not question the invoice I would've paid for things not done.

Car seemed to be at the rear of the compound all day and not looked at as I checked location using the BMW app. No updates or phone calls throughout the day so I missed picking my car up. I was offered a wash & vac, this wasnt even completed.

Apologies for my late reply, I have been away over Christmas and New Year seeing family abroad. After 10 years of using this garage to service and repair my last two BMWs I was left disappointed with the service given on the 13th Decemeber 2024.

Good service, especially from Aimee. However, disappointed that the company tried to charge me for a design fault that had led to a BMW mechanic damaging a cable. Follow up calls were very poor and I had to visit again as I heard nothing for a month.

Spark plugs were fitted without gapping set up, this resulted in engine idle misfire. This required to further inconvenient visits to BMW to remedy the issue, my car being kept for over 24 hours and new spark plugs ordered and fitting correctly.

Work carried out and invoice was not discussed when collecting vehicle - recommend this is done by default. Result is an overcharge for an item on invoice that i must chase for refund. Steering wheel offset following wheel alignment - needs revisit.

Upon arrival despite the work being authorised 2 hours BEFORE my arrival the work still hadn't been done. I checked with the on board tracker, the car had been sat for 3 hours before the service advisor phoned me. I had to wait for a further 90 mins.

As a result of VHC Steering Geometry Check was advised. This was done less than 4 months ago after about 2400 miles at cost of £120.00. Suspect the previous check was not carried out correctly. Service advisor impertinent and disrespectful.
